QAVS 2022

In 2022, the group was awarded the Queen's Award for Voluntary Service. It is the equivalent to an MBE for voluntary groups. Read about it in the local paper here.

Help during Covid

Biggleswade Good Neighbours were really busy during lockdown in 2020, taking on both new clients and volunteers. We provided telephone befriending for all who wanted it, too, to ensure no one felt isolated. You can read more about what we did here.

Coffee Mornings

Over the years we hosted multiple coffee mornings for clients. We invite guest speakers - local fire service, social prescriber, community agent - and there is always lots of cake!
