We are typically in need of volunteers who can:

​

• Provide transport within Biggleswade, such as giving lifts to medical appointments.

• Visit or call clients regularly (e.g. weekly) for a chat. This is often called befriending.

• Help manage our phone, taking calls from clients and matching volunteers with tasks.

• Assist clients with tasks such as shopping, gardening or DIY.

 

All our volunteers do tasks on an ad hoc basis, and when you register you can indicate what kinds of tasks you are willing to do (e.g. transport, befriending, gardening) and what your availability is.

You can also support us by visiting one of our cake/tombola stalls. We hold these at the Saturday Market in Biggleswade and at the Fire Station open day. Please check our Facebook page for more details on upcoming stalls.

 

We also have charity collection containers in several local businesses across town. Previous businesses that have supported us include: Biggleswade Express on Shortmead Street, Gorgeous Gift Company in Saxon Gate, Jones Cafe, and Stratton House Hotel.
